Introduction

I have made it my mission for the summer to read and analyze every book that Dr. Eric Berne has written pertaining to Transactional Analysis. Each day I will read and take notes on a passage from one of his books. Ultimately by around August 25th I will have read every book he has written on the subject of Transactional Analysis (and some other books that were published posthumously):

1)-Transactional Analysis in Psychotherapy (1961)
2)-A Layman's Guide to Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (1957/1968)
3)-The Structure and Dynamics of Organizations and Groups (1963)
4)-Games People Play (1964)
5)-Principles of Group Treatment (1966)
6)-Sex in Human Loving (1970)
7)-What Do You Say After You Say Hello? (1972)
8)-Beyond Games and Scripts (1976)
9)-Intuition and ego states: The origins of transactional analysis (1977)

I love learning and this topic interests me immensely. I hope to become a better person as a result of this study. Each night I will spend time organizing the data I have collected during the day. I will then analyze it to the best of my ability to provide you with some insight and understanding. I don't wish merely to summarize. I want to "dig deeper" and place my awareness in context with other psychological methods. This will not only be a study of Dr. Berne's works, but of as many different ideas as I can utilize to better understand the subject matter.

Feel free to comment with questions, answers, criticisms and support. I welcome it all.
